Part-Time Female Therapist
CrossRoads Ministries is a faith-based, Christ-centered counseling practice dedicated to helping individuals, couples, and families walk through life's challenges with hope, wisdom, and biblical truth. We are seeking a part-time female therapist to join our counseling team.
While our practice is rooted in faith, we welcome and serve all who come to us seeking help. We do not turn anyone away based on gender, sexual orientation, faith background, or ability to pay.
Responsibilities
Provide individual, couples, and/or family therapy sessions to a caseload of clients
Conduct intake assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation and progress notes in accordance with state and ethical standards
Monitor client progress and adjust treatment approaches as needed
Coordinate care with other providers as appropriate, with proper client consent, including communicating with a client's referring minister or pastor when signed consent has been obtained
Demonstrate comfort integrating Scripture into session when appropriate, and engage clients in discussion of biblical principles as part of the therapeutic process
Maintain client confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and state regulations
Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development as needed
Supervision & Support
Group supervision occurs monthly
Individual supervision is provided one hour per month
Informal supervision and consultation are available as needed when the clinical supervisor is available
Schedule
This is a part-time position. One evening of availability per week is expected to accommodate clients who are unable to attend daytime sessions.
Practice Model
All clients at CrossRoads Ministries are private-pay. We do not bill or work directly with insurance companies.
Requirements
A genuine heart and desire to minister to people through counseling
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Master's degree in counseling, social work, marriage and family therapy, or a related field
Active state licensure or state/national certification in good standing
Comfort and working knowledge of the DSM-5-TR
Ability to independently conduct suicide risk assessment and safety planning

While God has assured us that he has provided a new office space for us, that place has not yet been determined. Until we secure a physical space, we will be conducting all appointments via telehealth starting June 29, 2026.

"Our Next Home: Where Impact Grows"
Since 2014 we have been renting space from Vanguard Development Group. With Vanguard’s growth, they are in need of the office space that we have been renting. We have until June 30, 2026 to find a new space and move.
With this request from Vanguard to move, we sense that God has the right place for us at the right price.
This move represents hope, growth, and opportunity. But this move come with real costs: mostly furniture (as what we are currently using belongs to Vanguard). We will be bringing office supplies and technology, but until we find our space we will have no idea how to furbish the offices, lobby, conference room/classroom, supply room or staff lounge/kitchen.

Counseling Services
We are staffed by licensed and trained professionals. We provide confidential and comprehensive assessment and treatment for individuals in all phases of life, from children through older adults, experiencing a wide variety of mental health concerns.
Consulting + Training
We formed to educate and equip the body of Christ through classes and consultation. It is our goal for individuals to develop spiritually and grow in wisdom and knowledge as followers of Jesus Christ.
